Hailing from the land of the midnight sun, Tadd is a, Alaskan based, professional comic artist, writer, and illustrator.

A graduate of the Joe Kubert School of Cartooning & Design, he started his career as a background illustrator and commercial storyboard artist in Portland, Oregon. Soon after working for major publishers on properties such as Godzilla, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, GI Joe, and King Kong. 2019 marked a breakout year with the release of his creator owned dinosaur epic, “Cretaceous.” A silent graphic novel which followed the journey of an orphaned juvenile Tyrannosaurus rex as it survives the brutal environment of North America 67 million years ago.

Since, he’s embraced the independent and small press comic scene, while still illustrating commercially for publishers such as  Western Horseman Magazine as well as collaborating on media projects with Escaped From LA Films.  Recent projects, such as the Paleo-American series “The First Americans” from Critical Entertainment and the daikaiju wrestling zine series “Kaiju Libre” from Arc Welder Studios, are slated for wide release in early 2024.

Currently he is working on a collection of creator-owned graphic novels, that are yet to be announced and in the early stages of production.

Tadd is also the co-host of the weekly underground podcast, “Blue Tiger Revenge.” Interviewing professional creators and contributors to the cultural zeitgeist of the comic book industry and spotlighting the independent creative collective.
